Most novelty helmets have around 1/4" thick padding between the shell and your scalp. They are not meant to save your melon in an accident and are not D.O.T. approved. We do carry novelties that are D.O.T. approved which have around 1" of padding giving them the required saftey rating. But, whatever your pleasure is you will be sure to find it here.

These half helmets weigh in the 2 lb. range and are either vented or non-vented. Visors are fixed with screws or come with a removable snap design.
Halfhelmets offer a motorcyclist the most freedom without sacrificing the needed DOT helmet rating required by all but 3 or 4 of the states. All Outlaw helmets carry this D.O.T. approved helmet rating.
